Dear Friend,
I'm not sure which of you needs to read this today, but I wanted to let you know that you are precious. Your worth is great, far greater than you could ever imagine.
Your worth isn't determined by my opinion though.
It's not determined by how much money your family makes, it's not determined by what you own or do not.
It's not determined by the lines on your face, your hair color, the size of your waist, or the number that appears on your bathroom scale.
Your worth isn't determined by your feelings of joy or depression.
Your worth is not determined by mistakes you have made or the triumphs you have achieved.
It's not determined by you being married, or single. It's not determined by the number of children you have or do not.
Your worth isn't like a new car. It can get into a wreck, it can get dented, used, it can be falling apart and your worth would still be the same.
Your worth is not determined by anyone on this earth. Your worth is determined by the almighty God.
Your worth is determined by the creator of the universe. The very one who spun the galaxies, and paints every sunset loves you.
The one who cares for the lilies and sparrows; the one who has a plan greater than any of us can imagine; the one who has held all of past, present, and future in the palm of his hand; Jehovah God LOVES You.
Your worth is determined by your creator, and no one or nothing else has any say. Your creator bought you with the price of his only Son. Your creator wants to have a real relationship with you. Your creator has bestowed upon you a worth greater than you can ever imagine.
You are precious, your worth is great. You are loved. You are loved by the almighty God.
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
1 Corinthians 6:20
