Child Training Bible Review and Giveaway

Here's the scenario, your preschooler steals a toy stegosaurus from your toddler 3 times in the same morning. After you discipline and things calm down you'd like to show her in scripture why stealing is wrong.  But where do you turn? Somewhere in Exodus? What about scriptures about anger, or complaining?

I first came across the Child Training Bible a few weeks ago and I literally fell in love!! I was so excited to get a chance to review this product and I am even more excited to be able to give one away.

Simple to make, it turns an ordinary Bible into a brightly colored easy reference Bible for parents. I know this is a tool we will be using in my family for years to come.  Don't think it's just for little kids though.  I've used this Bible already to correct behavior, have family Bible time, my own personal devotions, and lead a Teen Bible study.

In fact as I was making the Child Training Bible I became deeply convicted in several areas of my own life.  (Funny how the word of God does that)

I could see this being a perfect gift for new parents or even "old" parents, and even older children to make for themselves. Everyone needs this Bible.

You can purchase your own at www.childtrainingbible.com for $9.  The kit includes:

  • 1 Child Training Bible Key (gloss cardstock)
  • 3 Easy Tabbers (double-sided gloss cardstock)
  • 1 Set of Instructions to make your Child Training Bible
In addition to the kit you will need to buy tabs from an office supply store and matching colored highlighters.  (I like using Crayola crayons for highlighting Bible pages.)

This Bible has already been such a huge blessing in my home so I'd like to do something a little different for the giveaway.  As a mandatory entry I'm asking you to say a brief prayer that these Bibles will be huge blessings to many other families as well, and pray that this giveaway will be blessed and a good form of advertising for the Dunn family.
