Hallelujah Chorus

I was wondering what to post today when my husband told me about this video.  If you haven't seen it yet, oh my.  This is something that I dream of doing, just standing up in the middle of the food court and singing (actually I think I may have done this on an occasion or two, but I never got any applause, so goes life).  What I like so much about this video however, and it probably wasn't even intended, is the fact that all those Christmas shoppers intent on making their purchases got to experience the real meaning of Christmas smack dab in the middle of their mall.  From a musical stand-point, the sound must have been amazing to have the choir scattered around a whole food court.  I love it!

  9. That made my day.
I have seen (on youtube) similar groups break out in other songs at the produce section of a grocery store, but this is the best.
I wonder if any 'non choir members' also stood up and sang. What did surprise me a little was that not every one (after the surprise of it) did not stand up anyway. I thought that it was traditional everywhere to usually stand when the Hallelujah Chorus was presented.
