Jan Berenstain Dies at 88

You know it's funny it's seldom that a celebrity's death even enters on my radar, but I was sad to hear that Jan Berenstain passed away.

Maybe it's because my husband and I aspire to be a writing team, maybe it's because I loved the Berenstain bears growing up, maybe it's because my children love them now,

but I just can't help but be sad.

The books they left behind will remain loved for many years.
