Ending 2010 Right

Christmas this year was such a special time.  My heart took so many pictures that I will treasure forever.  I found this passage of scripture very fitting for the last week of 2010.  No matter what your year was like, good, bad, or neutral: it applies to you.

13Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.
14Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
16Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
James 5:13-16

No matter what your situation, it's time to turn to God in prayer.

If you're depressed, pray.
If you're happy, pray.
If you're sick, pray.
If you're stuck in sin, pray.
If you're worried, pray.
If you're hurting, pray.

Don't turn to someone else to find comfort.  Don't turn to something else to find hope.  Turn to the creator of the universe and give him your praise, give him your joy, give him your sorrow, and let your requests be made known to him.  End this year leaning on the King of Glory, and He will carry you into 2011 and beyond if you should allow him.
