A Month of Thankfulness, Singing

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
Psalm 100

Isn't it wonderful that no matter what happens in life, no matter what problems enter our homes, that as Christians we always have something to sing about.  No matter how hopeless a situation may seem we can still have joy because the "Lord is good."  Just knowing that, and understanding that our God no matter what is going on, remains good above all else should be a huge comfort to us.

I'm posting at over at the Songs of my Journey Blogroll today, be sure to check out some of the other women's posts, they really are huge blessings!

  1. I always remember in Dr. Low's class you would say on test day that you still had the joy of your salvation. This post just reminded me of that! I am so glad we always have HIM to look to when things are going wrong and can be thankful that He has a plan.

  2. I'm reminded of the song that says "We can have a song in our heart in the night." Whatever the situation we can praise Him because He is still good.
